In general, all payments for subscriptions or services are non-refundable and there are no refunds for unused or partially used subscriptions or services, even if you cancel your membership or a subscription or service in the middle of a term. In some cases, you may be entitled to request a refund or credits.
a) For cancellations within 14 days before the start of the Service/Activity you are entitled to request a booking credit for the vacaj fees paid to be used for another booking.
b) For cancellations 14 days or less before the start of the Service/Activity or in case of no-show you are not entitled a refund.
Extenuating circumstances
If an emergency or natural disaster disrupt your reservation, you may be eligible for a refund due to extenuating circumstances.
Guests that are impacted by an event covered by this Policy can cancel their reservation and receive, depending on the circumstances, a refund. Suppliers that are impacted by an event covered by this Policy can cancel but, depending on the circumstances, their calendars may be blocked for the dates of the cancelled reservation.
What events are covered
Changes to government travel requirements. Unexpected changes to visa or passport requirements imposed by a governmental agency that prevent travel to the destination. This doesn’t include lost or expired travel documents or other personal circumstances relating to a guest’s authorization to travel.
Declared emergencies and epidemics. Government declared local or national emergencies, epidemics, pandemics, and public health emergencies.
Government travel restrictions. Travel restrictions imposed by a governmental agency that prevent or prohibit traveling to, staying at, or returning from the listing location. This does not include non-binding travel advisories and similar government guidance.
Military actions and other hostilities. Acts of war, hostilities, invasions, civil war, terrorism, explosions, bombings, rebellions, riots, insurrection, civil disorder, and civil unrest.
Natural disasters. Natural disasters, acts of God, large-scale outages of essential utilities, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and other severe and abnormal weather events. This does not include weather or natural conditions that are common enough to be foreseeable in that location.
If a Supplier cancels before the Service/Activity:
If a Supplier cancels a booking, you will be able to request a booking credit to find another Supplier or request rebooking assistance by contacting us.
How to request rebooking assistance
To request rebooking assistance, the guest who made the reservation must contact us within 72 hours after discovery of the Reservation Issue. Requests should be supported by relevant evidence such as photographs or confirmation of the conditions by the Supplier, which we will use to help determine whether a Reservation Issue has occurred.
Suppliers’ calendars may be blocked for the dates of the cancelled reservation.
